MATERIALS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (Wind farm)

The Mission

You are responsible for ensuring the efficient, reliable, and cost-effective planning of resources and cranes for the wind farm project, meeting contractual obligations and customer requirements. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, coordinating necessary resources, and minimizing downtime during the project’s execution.

Tasks:

• Develop and manage the planning and scheduling of resources and cranes for site operations at the wind farm.

• Ensure cranes are available and scheduled efficiently to meet project timelines.

• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely arrival of necessary components and equipment.

• Maintain constant communication with Site Manager and site teams to ensure deadlines are met.

• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate weather changes, equipment availability, or unforeseen issues.

• Monitor project progress and provide daily and weekly updates.

• Optimize resource usage to reduce costs without compromising on safety or efficiency.

• Strong experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain coordination.

• Proven experience in organizing industrial materials logistics and collaborating with suppliers and various third parties.

• Knowledge in inventory management, materials reception, storage, and quality control. Strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

• Good Latvian and a strong command of English to effectively communicate across all regions. Good MS Office skills.

• Driver's license B.
