AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job description

  • Lead the daily operations of the retail outlets at Riga Airport, ensuring high operational and customer service standards

  • Manage, motivate and develop the team, including work schedules, performance and training

  • Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in sales, productivity and profitability

  • Oversee supplier relations, stock management, inventory and merchandising standards

  • Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements and coordinate store maintenance

  • Liaise with Riga Airport administration and report regularly on operational performance to senior management

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in retail operations, store management or a similar management role

  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams

  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills

  • A commercial mindset with a good understanding of KPIs and sales performance

  • A hands-on, responsible and results-oriented approach

  • Fluent Latvian and good working proficiency in English (for collaboration with the team and management in Malta)
