DATA ENGINEER / DATA SCIENTIST

Technical maintenance/responsibility (product lifecycle, incident & releases management, software upgrades, etc.) of BI applications such as SAS, SAP BO, Power BI or QlikSense

Usage of BI tools to create reports & dashboards including in-depth knowledge of ETL processes with Oracle and Informatica or similar tools

Implementation of change requests in collaboration with internal business partners to further develop the data, reporting and analytics foundation

Implementation of data science use cases with R, Python or similar tools including data management tasks such as data preparation and process

automation

Close collaboration with various business stakeholders to identify and

implement ongoing optimization opportunities

BSc or MSc in computer science, data science, mathematics, physics or another scientific area

At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial sector

Deep knowledge of the financial industry, particularly in the areas of financing solutions and services

Strong Informatica and Oracle know-how with programming knowledge in e.g. SQL, SAS, R or Python including understanding of data governance, data quality and data management topics

Understanding of on-prem and cloud technologies, e.g. with Azure Data Factory/Data Warehousing or Azure Data Science/Power BI would be considered as an advantage

Language skills: fluency in English (German as a plus)
