FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Manage and oversee finance, accounting, and month-end closing activities for the Latvian facility.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and group requirements.

Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory reports in Latvia.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

Collaborate with Group Finance and contribute to month-end reporting and financial analysis.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance and reporting processes.

Work closely with local management and international stakeholders.

Proven experience in finance, accounting, or financial controlling.

Strong knowledge of Latvian VAT regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

Experience working within an international or global organization.

Understanding of month-end closing and group reporting processes.

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong ERP system experience; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) is considered an advantage, or the ability to learn it quickly.

Good overall IT and computer skills.

Valid driving licence.

Excellent Latvian language skills (spoken and written).

Good English communication skills (spoken and written) for communication with international clients.
