Job description

  • Identifying, initiating, managing, coordinating, and evaluating both internal and external projects.

  • Monitoring and analysing relevant topical fields and regional developments.

  • Developing, maintaining, and expanding networks with relevant institutions and organisations

    in Latvia (and, as appropriate, Estonia and Lithuania), the Nordic countries and the countries

    of the Baltic Sea Region.

  • Arranging conferences, events and similar outreach activities.

  • Ensuring effective project administration, including preparation of reports and follow-up

    measures.

  • Disseminating knowledge, experiences, and best practices from Nordic–Latvian cooperation

    activities, in close cooperation with the Communication Advisor.

  • Representing and presenting the Office’s work in writing, in public forums, and through

    various communication channels, including social media.

Job requirements

  • Higher education degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience of 2–5 years in a similar position or in a related field within an embassy, public

    institution, private company, chamber of commerce, or similar organisation.

  • Strong project management skills and proven experience in coordinating projects.

  • Fluency in Latvian and English, both written and verbal (knowledge of a Nordic language is a

    plus, but not mandatory) for communication with the team and international partners.

  • Excellent communication skills and strong networking skills.

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
