Job description
Mission
We are expanding our R&D and Test Lab teams and are looking for an experienced IT hardware
engineer who lives close to modern computing architectures and wants to own how our systems
are configured, tested and brought into production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design and validate compute configurations
Work with modern server and workstation hardware: CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, memory, storage, networking, PSUs and cooling subsystems (including liquid cooling).
Select components and build optimal configurations for different use cases (HPC, AI, rendering, etc.), and configure or adapt BIOS/firmware settings for specific tasks and platforms.
Check hardware and software compatibility end-to-end, identify bottlenecks and solve integration issues.
Test and benchmark new components (new GPU generations) to validate their overall performance and efficiency, and evaluate new design options for future Comino products.
Analyze test data, draw conclusions, write reports and build comparison graphs.
Work with production and quality teams to ensure that what is delivered to customers matches validated configurations and standards.
